Our children are interacting with a large group of children for the first time.  With that in mind, teachers focus on helping the children in their class learn to work together with their friends and help take care of each other.  We use positive reinforcement and modeling techniques to encourage positive behavior.  If a child becomes aggressive our teachers discuss the problem in a soft, calm voice with the children involved.  The children are encouraged to come up with a solution and to help take care of their friend.  Teachers will discuss any continual behavioral concerns with the child’s parents.

Our teachers are available on a daily basis to answer questions about your child’s day.  Each center has a parent board at the entrance.  This board is kept current with up to date information regarding upcoming events.   Our preschool participates in documentation via digital photos, children’s portfolios and daily posting of “News of the Day”.  This includes snap shots of your child’s day and dialogue explaining the activities that were presented throughout the day.  We also schedule 2 conferences per year.
