Curriculum Plan
Our Preschool Center is a collection of large stimulating centers that are utilized by both the 3-year-old Bear Group and the 4-year-old Lion Group. These centers include: A computer center, an art center, a writing & language center, a science/math and sensory center, a library and listening center, a block and manipulative center, and our dramatic play center.
Twice a month our teachers meet to plan the activities that they will present at each of these centers. Additionally, the teachers "brainstorm" with their class to see what they are interested in discovering. This form of planning allows us to follow our children’s interests while guiding them into making and carrying out a plan of action.
